Professional Background
Paul McRyan brings 25 years of finance leadership experience, with deep expertise in clinical trials and life sciences. After training with PwC and KPMG in the UK and gaining corporate finance experience in a listed company environment, he joined one of the world’s largest contract research organisations in 2008 as International Financial Controller. In 2010, he was promoted to CFO, a role he held for eight years. During this period, he led M&A integrations, implemented a global ERP system, and helped prepare the business for a successful exit in 2017. Since 2018, he has been active as Chairman and Non-Executive Director across a portfolio of life sciences and financing businesses, including a health-tech scale-up and a regional SME fund in West England.
