Professional Background
Monica Galiardo brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across fashion, technology, consulting, education, and non-profit organisations. Raised bilingually in German and Italian, she also speaks fluent English and has working knowledge of Mandarin. Early in her career, she managed a major European sportswear company and developed an innovative ECR concept for the national distributors, which was later adopted by the international parent company. From 2014 onwards, she served as Senior Director of an international e-commerce platform association with around 130 employees, leading sales and partner management across Europe and Asia, establishing a subsidiary in China, and guiding the organisation through integration after its acquisition by a global software group. Since 2022, she has been leading the administration of a large NGO Germany and Italy, integrating 15ü independent foundations into a common structure and overseeing the entire organisation.
